Imbued with the welcoming, wild-hearted nature of the people who call this land home, Dryad Gin is a majestic distillation of golden-hued evenings spent in the company of fine folk.

Opening a doorway between worlds, it’s a drink to be shared and savoured as you celebrate the language, landscapes, and local customs to which you are lovingly bound.

THE DRYAD GIN STORY.

Many traditional country pubs have closed their doors, threatening the wellbeing of rural communities that rely on these spaces to thrive. Driven by a desire to create community and connection between people, purpose, and place, Dryad Gin was born.

We now spread Dryad community spirit through guided woodland walks, private dining experiences, tailored talks, and our pop-up village pubs. Pleasing the palates of many discerning drinkers along the way, we’ve won prestigious Gold awards from Taste of the West and The Spirits Selection by Concurs Mondial de Bruxelles, and we were awarded Highly Commended at The Gin Guide Awards.

MEET BECKY, DRYAD’S DISTILLER.

Our master distiller, Becky Wright, has always been passionate about fostering and finding everyday joy, spending many years helping people find home and happiness within themselves.

Pairing this pursuit with her passion for bloomin’ good gin, Becky realised she could manifest moments of meaningful connection where people arrived as strangers and left as firm friends. And so, she trained to become a gin distiller. In the summer of 2022, Becky poured the first bottle of our evocative elixir and she has been distilling the wonders of the woodland ever since.

When she’s not rocking a fungi-themed headdress behind tables brimming with Dryad delights, you’ll find Becky surrounded by nature, researching the perfect herbs and botanicals to feature in future brews and blends. Watch this space…

A SPIRITED ELIXIR, DISTILLING THE TASTE OF SPRING.

OUR GIN-MAKING PROCESS.

Dryad Gin was first lovingly distilled and hand-poured from a kitchen table at the foothills of the Quantocks, marrying small-batch sensibilities with delicate flavours to create aromatic alchemy.

Named after the nymph spirits who guard the ancient woodlands, our signature Centaur Oak blend balances a bounty of natural botanicals with subtle hints of cardamom, cinnamon, orange peel and almond for a rich, earthy edge.

Bottles are numbered and blessed before leaving for their new homes to honour our coexistence with nature, and names are added to our handwritten ledger to give thanks to those we’ve welcomed into our world. It’s a real labour of love.

Inspired by the cyclical rhythm of the seasons and the druidic calendar, our gin is a love letter to the ethereal beauty of the natural world, steeped in ancient mythology, rich folklore, and time-honoured traditions that bind us together.

As you can probably tell, Dryad is more than just a seriously quaffable gin. We want you to experience magic beyond the bottle and live life in full technicolour, and that starts by encouraging you to let your mind wander so you can unearth all the abundant joys quietly waiting to be found.

And that’s why we bring the spirited sanctuary of the glades – home to Chiron, Dry and the bountiful blackbird – to life with each sip, offering respite and reflection with every ‘blackbird’s beakful’. Prop up the bar at The Dryad Inn – our travelling public house of no fixed abode – and join us for a night of joyful revelry as we mischievously move between worlds.

Armed with fairy lights, toadstools, and playful Dryad spirit, we transform village halls into mystical pop-up pubs with the help of our merry band of volunteers, bringing fine folk together for evenings punctuated by laughter and libations.
