The Walnut Tree - Hotel and Restaurant
In March 2006 the hotel was purchased by the present owners. Subsequent development accompanied continuous growth to the business which is today reflected in its 34 superb bedrooms and our 3 star rating from the AA.
The Hotel has a reputation of excellence for its hospitality, catering for guests’ accommodation needs, weddings, conferences, functions and special events. The restaurant has won awards for the quality of food and service, and it is with these standards that we strive to remain a top class venue in the area.
Augustus Restaurant
With hospitality at their heart, they focus on high quality, locally sourced ingredients, most of which are delivered or collected on foot from local independent shops. From fruit and vegetables at our local green grocer Granny Smiths, fresh Brixham fish from Bowditch’s in Bath Place and meat from round the corner at Riverside butchers.
The Castle
The Castle Hotel is a unique family-owned hotel set in a historic building in the heart of Taunton in Somerset. Situated in Medieval Dunster in the heart of Exmoor where moor meets the sea, Reeves Restaurant is a well established multi award winning restaurant . Chef patron Justin and his team are passionate about using the very best of fresh, local produce and offer a tantalising range of meat, seafood and plant based dishes. Reeves is Open for Candlelit evenings and a traditional roast Sunday lunch. In the warmer weather there is a beautiful, Mediterranean walled garden which is magically lit at night.

The Stags Head Dunster
Nestled in the beautiful medieval village of Dunster, Somerset, The Stags Head is a charming and historic 15th-century pub & B&B located on West Street, said to be the oldest part of Dunster. We love the landlord and Landlady who insist on Dryad Gin being sold there.
The White Horse Inn Stogumber
The White Horse Inn is a traditional Grade II village freehouse. Situated in the picturesque village of Stogumber, nestled between the beautiful Quantock Hills and Exmoor. The pub is located in the focal point of Stogumber village. The landlord Dan Pearson a long term fan of Dryad Gin.

The Rising Sun West Bagborough
The Rising Sun Inn has a rich history dating back to 1573. Originally known as The Shepherd’s Crook, the inn is built from traditional cob stone and still retains its original front door—an incredible piece of history nearly 500 years old. Inside, you’ll find some of the original oak beams, crafted from over 80 tons of solid timber, adding to the pub’s unique character and timeless charm. Ray and this team have made Dryad Gin feel very welcome.

When we first launched Dryad Gin we became the Community Spirit for ASK Italian Taunton. They take inspiration from the Italian way of life, putting their heart and soul into the details. So that when you come to one of their restaurants, you can relax, unwind and be yourself.

These guys have always stocked my gin just one or two bottles at a time for sale.
They are a small well stocked shop owned by the community, run by the community and for the benefit of the community.

Halsway Manor is The National Centre for Folk Arts is a registered charity set up to promote and support the practice of the traditional folk arts, especially those practised in England.This includes traditional folk dance, folk music, song, folklore, storytelling, arts and crafts. It is the only residential centre in the world concentrating on the varied folk heritage of England. For over 60 years Halsway Manor has hosted unique experiences and inspired thousands of people to experience folk dance, song, music and art.
